I kinda sorta tried to enter that contest.. kinda... I didn't actually send anything, really. For the first one, I procrastinated, and I'm just like "ahhh next time..." and for the second one me and my friend had a great idea, but it would never fit on 20 pages (the maximum). Then I wanted to enter this one for March 15, buuuuut I procrastinated again.
Maybe I'll eventually enter, when I think my skills are at a high enough level.
Your story was really cool though, Kodama.. the ending creeps me out.. O_O;;

You know what pissed me off? Last weekend TokyoPop held a panel at a convention somewhere in California, forgot where. They were reviewing amateur work! I wanted to go sooo bad! I was so mad that I couldn't go! I mean, urgh!
Anyways.
