All I know is that I think Iceland is the one that's all green, and Green land is covered in ice.
Or something like that, could you put that in your report?

Okay *grabs a cup of coffee*
Please leave your name, your location, the year you are born and maybe a photo of yourself, or a visual description of yourself too
(for example, I'd be an asian girl with dyed dark red hair that is about sholder length and always died up in a pony tail, low or high; about 160cm/5'4" tall, not very skinney but rarely considered fat by others. I tend to dress rather poorly of a mixture of run down pants, long skirts and XL T-shirts to a better batch of clothing consisting of a few button up shirts and sweaters.)
Robbie, Tennessee, 1979, Male, 1/2 Welsh 1/2 Navajo (clan Lizhini). I'm 6'3 my hair is black its styled in a mohawk that tends to change color a bit. I've got multiple facial piercings, I wear make-up. My clothing style is a rather collectic mix I'd say, usually were cargo pants, and long sleeved shirts. sometimes i'll wear a band shirt under them. here's a picture... (
)
My room is usually a mess, I have posters on my wall (the smiths, the Cure, Bauhaus, Suicide Machines, Freeze pop, the reverend Horton Heat, Pokemon, Seasme Steet, Wu-Tang Clan, and Wolfsheim) I have a Strat usually sitting in a case and a small Yamamha 1120 in my room for up to the minuite inspirations. Computer, ps2, DvD player, tons of films, school books, and to the corner I have a Alter which I use for meditation. The Alter is basically a set up with various things that mean a lot to me now that I'm not at the reservation, to keep me connected to my family. Like some soil, a frienship bracelet, and what nots. Just stupid stuff really.
three people live with me currently. (hoping one moves out soon) as to family, I have my brothers and sisters who are not related by blood just really good friends, I have three here where I live now. My family lives in Ohio (well my mother and two sisters... and I don't regularly see them)
My average day consists of getting up... checking mail... going to work... coming home.. working on the project of my choice. Eating... meditation, tai-chi (four days a week) and by evening either I go to band practice, play video games, or go out with friends.
Well where I live, they are really all really southern. they have these really bad accents and say things like "I reckon" and "ain't". Most people are very sad and frown a lot. also they are mostly very rude.
Cultural rules... hrrms... well the merry X-mas thing... hugs to friends... somthing i've picked up people get hugs its a rule!
I was born in South Haverford West Wales, I came to the united states when I was about five. Miltary things, I think. my father left when I was about seven and we lived in the rez for a while, before my mother felt it was neccessary to leave it behind. During our moves we visited a lot of reservations, and I'm a training shaman so it was sort of important for me to have mentors. I moved here to tennessee (from Ohio) abour five years ago to go school.. which I'm trying to get back to.
My job is at a call center.. I answer phones and stuff.
Well my mother celebrates a lot of the christian holidays, and I've taken in the custom of going to the cherokee rez close to me on thanksgiving.. as nothing beats frybread on thanksgiving. we also celebrated Alamo indian day, which is more of just a prayer ceramony for those of our ancestors who have died more than anything else. Other things that arn't regular are the spirit walk, and the brave quest.
This is a wierd one, I'm sort of the black sheep of my family but I fit in with them okay. with my culture, I'm a training shaman as mentioned before... so I am accepted.. but I also went through a lot of ridcule growing up being a half breed, both on the rez, and in suberbia. sometimes I dont know where I truely fit.. but *smiles* ahh sad question.. next!
Gender Roles? what you be talking about? *grin*
In Native American culture there are two sects really the christian natives who practice what we call "the new Ways" and then there are the traditionalists who practice the old ways. there's been fights as long as I can remember about this.
My mom had this gigantic spoon she brought back from Wales and ehh...
I don't know if there's an exellent parent. to me it someone who cheerishes the gift of life, but also knows how to step up.
My mom nuff said.
Well on the reseveration I spent most time at they had a tribunal, and the head of that was the chief. But in the real world govenors...states men.
Well I do a lot of my own healing, and heal others. part of my training. I know a lot of folk traditions and all that. but commonly people go to a physician.
Calendar.
First meetings a high five if i like em... shoulder pat, smile... that sort of thing.. as it goes on hugs!
Communication is eye contact and a voice that carries.. no smile... serious expression.
Well I think most of the stuff I identify with can be misinterprated, but physically, growing hair long when one is going though a transition, is really the only one in my culture I really use. most of my traditions I have gathered, liked for body modifications for somthing I want to remember.. or was meaningful. blood letting to seal, is probably a little wierd.
