This brings back horrible memories of all the history of the Third Reich that I did.
I've always seen this particular political cartoon as a good description of the The Nazi-Soviet Pact:

Has anyone ever seen that politcal cartoon with Stalin and Hitler where the caption reads "How long will the honeymoon last?" and Hitler's dressed like a groom and Stalin's wearing a dress? We love that one.Digital War wrote:Czechoslovakia.

Hey, no fair. Your ancestors gave you a sword. All I have is this army of 50,000 loyal troops... er. *looks around* Damn. I'm a dead man.Executor_Arthas wrote:Rkolter, I'm going to have to kill you now. Although I like him and all, he assasinated the royal family, and since I'm a descendant of French noble bllod, it's my honour bound duty to kill you right now. *takes out sword*

Patton was truley great.Mr Ekshin wrote:George S. Patton was one of my favorite Generals. He had a remarkable military mind, yet otherwise was not extremely gifted. From his childhood he always stated that he wanted to lead an army. He also believed in reincarnation. He stated on more than one occasion that he had lived and died in a war in ancient times.
Originally the commander of an American Calvalry Unit, He helped define the role for tanks in American warfare. He read previous books on the subject by Rommel, as well as others. His own books are still valid and important reading for students of modern mechanized warfare.
