An open letter to the guy that stole my web page
I don't know who you are, or if you even come to this forum, but I know that at some point recently, you have visited my page.
I mean, come on.
It's not like I'm a HTML guru or anything. In fact, I'm more of an idiot savant, more on the idiot side than on the savant. I'm not very good at web design, so I guess I don't understand why, of all the web pages you could go out and steal for your Keenspace debut, that you'd take mine. I mean, what is up with that?
Look, that brown leathery texture background? I don't own that. That came out of my paint program. Of course, the only reason I can see it (and no one else can) is that the URL for the image is broken and points to the image on my hard drive. I screw up my links sometime, see paragraph above.
So yeah, maybe it is like, a TOTAL coincidence that the font color and style you are using and the layout just happens to the same as mine. . . but the title of your page says "Elf Only Inn, December 26th." I'm pretty sure that is not a coincidence, Bay-Chan. Hellllloooooo? Formatting a Keenspace page is NOT HARD. In fact, by stealing the code from MY page, you have actually made your job HARDER.
Smart idea: Starting over from scratch.
Another smart idea: Putting up a comic. Hustle, while people are clicking on your link.

No, I'm sorry, it is not a joke. I'm not very happy about it, either, but I worry that some young kid will pop up in tears because I have made such a diabolically public appeal.

I don't have any sympathy. He could easily look up how to do HTML on the internet, or at least ASKED if he could use the layout from EOI first before blatantly ripping it off. The only pity I have is for the fact that even though he still ripped off someone's HTML code, it still doesn't work... That's pretty sad.

This is the funniest thing I've read in a long time. (Well, that and I just found out the Saturn Dealer had taken out a life insurance policy on me because I bought a new car in 2002. Guess they didn't think I would live to pay it off.)
What gets me is this Bay Chan took the time to make thoughtful entries for the guide in the members screen then does something like this. First a hijacked HTML page. Then an unfinished, 300 dpi, sideways comic.
I'm actually impressed that they got it to work.
