Toy advertisement....right?

Post by Bliss »

This was brought to my attention earlier, and I thought I might share it:

...be sure to read the reviews at the bottom.

"From Toysrus.com & Amazon.com
Editorial Review
Kids can now "fly" a Nimbus 2000 broomstick just like the members of their favorite Quidditch team. A replica of the broom Harry uses in the movie Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, the Nimbus 2000 features a grooved stick and handle for easy riding. Enhancing the excitement are the vibrating effects and magical swooping and whooshing sounds the broom makes when on. Sounds can also be activated when the switch is set in standby mode. Requires three AA batteries (included). --Larry White"

This toy was #1 on my daughter's Christmas list

she LOVES this toy. Even my daughter's friends enjoy playing with this fun toy. I was surprised at how long they can just sit in her room and play with this magic broomstick

My only problem I see with the toy is the batteries drain too fast and his sister fights him over it, so now I need to buy her one.

When my 12 year old daughter asked for this for her birthday, I kind of wondered if she was too old for it, but she seems to LOVE it. Her friends love it too! They play for hours in her bedroom with this great toy. They really seem to like the special effects it offers (the sound effects and vibrating). My oldest daughter (17) really likes it too! I reccomend this for all children.

Bliss... I love you now! Thank you for showing me that! Very VERY much! *still laughing too loudly considering the time her is 1:30*

SWEET GOOGLIE MOOGLIE!!!! And with THIS PICTURE, no less. My mind has been scarred, just like the I tried to wrap my brain around the concept of Harry Potter yaoi fanfics.

This was brought to the attention of Fark some days ago, and incidentally, a lot of the reviews as a result are probably faked.

Hey, at least one of those people who reviewed it realized what might be up--and removed the batteries from the broom.

Yeesh, but that's... well, it's... sickening.
Is that so?

Eh, like I said...given the FARKing that the site's gotten, that's probably one of the few real reviews.

I remember some McDonald's 101 Dalmation toys with one of the roly poly puppies clutching a teddy bear upside down on its belly. Basically, the 69 position.

well, the best products are those that have "Secondary uses". Here's a toy your kids won't outgrow!
