Given that they've been down the last couple days, I suspect some updates were finally made.

Yeah, that downtime made me think the plug had finally been pulled for good.

Yeah; I still can't access siteadmin or queue an update properly. Auto-updating isn't working either, my comic hasn't updated for over a week :(

You can try tweeting the admins, but honestly, I think it's better just to move to a different host at this late juncture. I favour Comic Fury, personally. If you want to leave a message letting your readers know you've moved, just log into your FTP client and directly edit the index.html file in the "public_html" folder.

The forum update made me realize I've had an unread private message sitting in my inbox for five years.

Moving to another host would be kind of problematic in my case... I find my old comics...erm...ugly to say the least. Redoing 200 or more pages would take a while until the level of art is satisfactory to publish elsewhere. :/

SHOCK! HORROR!

Goodness. Well, seems most functions were preserved . . . but what is this nonsense with the posters being displayed on the right-hand side, rather than the traditional left? Is there a setting to restore that old display?

Also, um . . . *waves* Glad to see some familiar faces still kicking around!

This guy: http://forums.comicgenesis.com/memberli ... le&u=25981

We apparently had some back and forth where he had asked I guess on the forums for help putting his comic on here, and I tried to usher him over to SmackJeeves (which ironically bit the bullet before this place did!!! what a wild world we live in)

The notifications thing here would have been exquisite back when there was enough activity to warrant it.

Wow. An update to a website that doesn’t suck and is functional. Looks nice on my phone. (The recent update to deviant art was so bad I gave up on comic and art making until I can find a usable site).

The new design's cool!

And I'm still around ... kinda.

I don't really care about webcomics anymore. Although I'm working on a few stories for fun.

And for the record: A MASSIVE "thank you" to whoever it is that is keeping the lights on in here.

Ever go back and tour a home you lived in as a child? That weird sense of "I know all of this and should and kind of do but it's also all new and different"? That's me.

That has always been me. And after Smackjeeves imploded I decided to try and revive some things here, but basically there's only so much that was ever doable with the existing hardware and cms.

I've probably deleted more comics that people were embarrassed they had ever made, in the last 5 years than anything else unfortunately.

Thank you for your hard work Kisai. I'm still happy to be able to post a comic page once in a while (I really have to do more if I want to FINALLY finish that story!)

It makes me sad that people are embarassed about comics. There have always been gems among the silliness.
