How far you've fallen, talking about "phone screens." Shame
Come now, INstudios, I figured I left more of an impact upon you than that.

Dahfuk?
What? No, Cope. What clearly needs to happen is optimize "mobile" for the forums. And by that I mean destroy this cellphone-dominated market with fire. Cleansing, violent fire.

You had a chance, but botched it.
See, the K key on a QWERTY is just too far away from the F to really make an applicable assumption about a typo. I understand the mocking tonality implied, but a C would have at least allowed for an easy turn-around on calling them fools.

i tried tracking people down a while ago and had little luck, just gave up and wrote em off. its just like real life, you lose contact and when you try to find them again you either never do or the person isn't really all that interested in talking with you.IVstudios wrote:Everyone moved to Twitter/Tumblr.Spaceprincess wrote:what happened to all the kewl kids?
plus people here were very clickish, and really snobish if you weren't in their circle. I think its why I stopped posting here.

Tumblr
A bunch of us also chat on Discord.
There is still a great community out there for webcomics. It's not as personal as CG was, but it's still very supportive and fun.

Re: the last thread of us
I was never cool enough to hang out with all you cool kids, and I never really got the hang of Twitter or Tumblr. I'm more into Reddit (even though Reddit's collective taste in comics is absolute shit) and Instagram. Instagram suits me best, and I'm slowly building a following, while all my posts get immediately buried and unseen by Twits and Tumbls. Tumblr is good for looking at naked ladies and hot rods, though.
I like Tapastic because it doesn't force you to fuck your comic format to fit phone screens the way LINE Webtoon does, but it still keeps mobile display in mind. Plus, it's got probably the liveliest community of any of the comic hosting sites out there right now, from what I can tell. Honestly, I'm surprised Drunk Duck and Smack Jeeves still exist, let alone this sad archive of webcomics' Bronze Age.Jpac wrote: Where does everyone host their comics?

Bronze Age seems about right. CG was a step above hosting and coding the site oneself. Gone are the days of HTML tables and manually edited archive pages every time there was an update.Bustertheclown wrote:Honestly, I'm surprised Drunk Duck and Smack Jeeves still exist, let alone this sad archive of webcomics' Bronze Age.

Re: the last thread of us
I'm @ziplequick on Instagram, if anyone is into that. Also, I just started posting my old comics on Tapastic, and am working on a new comic to debut after New Year (or, rather, I'm giving the ol' HD Remake treatment to one of my oldest comics.) My Tapastic page is HERE. I really do dig the social-media-specifically-for-cartoonists thing they've got going on. Plus, their Tapas comic reader app on mobile ain't bad. Makes reading webcomics easy.
