Naw, yeah, it doesn't work for everybody, so you gotta do what you can handle. In my case it works because each page takes longer if I do it separate from the rest than if I work on a couple at the same time and seems to so far average out to between 4-6 hours per page, computer editing not included. For people I've talked to whose art is much more complex and takes many more hours (even averaged out), this idea would only be so feasible as if you were doing it as a full-time job, basically.
I had wanted to be all done inking foreground AND background by today-ish so I could color all this week and get things uploading by the start of September. But there's so much left to do, a bunch of crowd/audience scenes and things of that nature and uruuuuuuuuururuurururuuurrrrr
