Webcomicers doing some good (again)

Post by VinnieD »

Last year, some of you may recall that I and a few others from here participated in the Comic Creator's Alliance fight against human trafficking. Well a year has gone by and it's time to step up again. The CCA has changed names to Comic Creators for Freedom and is running another drive to fight the good fight. I and a good number of other comic creators have already joined in. The concept is the same as last year. Each artist draws a single character which is composed into a larger wallpaper/poster image to be given away with donations, or purchased as a physical print. This year's theme is "Snowball fight."

So honestly guys, it's an excuse to draw something fun, feel good about what you're doing, fight back against a horrible injustice, and even get a bit of free promotion while you're at it. Check out the website at http://comiccreatorsforfreedom.com/ maybe volunteer a pic, or just spread the good word to other comic artists, communities, and fans.

Thanks for sharing, Vinnie. Think I'm going to jump in on this one.
