One of the food places on campus had in stock this caramel macchiato starbucks thing flavored ice cream. So beautiful.

Studying for my History of the Soviet Union class is going better than anticipated.

Also, the highlight of my day so far has been a cold, green plastic bag of cheese tortellini. Sad that an MRE can make me happy, but I take the happiness I can get.

I got the 3DS today, and it's pretty awesome. It really feels like a big step forward in games, which I haven't felt since I played Melee way back in 2001.

Ryan's mini-me aka TC is really picking up words and phrases lately.

And yes, he's already said the "S" word thanks to me and later Daddy. The point is not to make a big deal of it so he's only said it maybe once or twice since.

Last night:

- met a really lovely older couple who bought two pieces from my art show at the other comic store (they weren't at the opening, which was in January, which is why I only just met them now)

- bought a (ridiculously unnecessary but still awesome) Joe Ledbetter lunch tin from the same store

- went out with friends and laughed harder than I have laughed since I was in animation school 6 years ago.

All in all, a good day.

(and all this after an especially frustrating day at work)

I just officialized next semester's class schedule. I got into all the classes I needed, I'm knocking out almost all of my core requirements, and my weekend starts at 11:20 Friday morning and doesn't end until 5:30 Monday evening. And I have no Wednesday classes.

Didn't have to drive friends home for the upteenth time, ugh! Also, I made my own chicken noodle soup and came out pretty good for first try... I just need to learn how to properly prepare chicken breast. And then I had cookies n cream ice cream.

Oh, and my friend told me how she had the saddest prom night, where she just drunk berry smirnoffs and played Pokemon until she got a buzz. It was sad, but it was funny to hear Pokemon in the middle of that.

She's here!

Miss Morgan arrived on 04/04/11 at 8:24am via c-section at a whooping 9lbs 12oz and 22in long! She has a full head of dark brown hair and big dark blue eyes. She looks like her daddy

Mazel tov! Here's to her future, may it be only bright with health and wisdom and the good fortune brought by loving parents.

I was happy today to wake up in my own bed, eat a breakfast of real food, take a shower without having to wear flip flops, and wear regular clothes. The little joys in life are grand.

She's doing great! Big brother is doing wonderful with her. He's given her binkys (pacifers) and has even put her diaper in the trash.
