Thank you! :)

I adore tasteless jokes, personally; any joke that takes people outside their comfort zone is a joke I want to hear! S'part of why I'm such a George Carlin fan; George knew the line, crossed it deliberately, and made you glad he did. Image

Haha, that happened to me too. I was talking to couple of random guys after a movie, and when the subject of webcomics came up, one of the asked me if I read MegatokyOH MY FUCKING GOD IT'S SPARROW

Haha, that's a favorite of an old boyfriend of mine. He had a particularly wretched sense of humor that I also partake in from time to time.

I know, that is also perfectly fine to do I know there are CG and Keenspot comics that participate in Project Wonderful.

It does not come up much in my routine conversations. When recommending comic hosting, though, ComicGenesis is my first suggestion. I do like the system.

I moved off of the CG servers for my comics so that I could use my own domains and have control over ad-content... but I started here in 2004 when it was still keenspace, did four abandoned/failed comics with that username, and started both of the ones I'm currently doing on my own servers here. I'm fond of this place and the creators that work thru this service bc its my background, and I've always recommended ComicGensis to people considering a webcomic.

I've also recommended DrunkDuck to a few people though because the community features can really help a good comic get more attention by giving it a lot of exposure... but I don't like that its owned by Platinum and there can be some real asshats over there that will flame people who are just trying to get a start. I know my early stuff was shit but if I had gotten flamed by "better" members at the time, I doubt I would still be doing comics today. CG has always been supportive and helpful... i think its still the best place on the web to get your start in the webcomic field. So yeah, I always speak highly of it when/if it comes up.
