The NEW Clarisworks Vector Thread!

Post by Aster Azul »

Hail, forumites! So, after experimenting with all different kinds of art, everything comes back to vector. I've learned a lot by drawing from photographs and life, and while I don't think that's necessarily the best way to draw, you certainly learn a lot. Anyway, I've been doing vector portraits for my friends in China. It's a great way to build "guanxi" 关系.

"Aster, why are you showing off?"

Well, I'm on quite a roll, and if any of you have a particularly well-composed photograph of yourself that you want vectorised, I'll consider doing it if I like the photo! Especially for some of my old friends here! (RKolter, M2, Pyro, BEC, Leko, Duff, etc).

Very cool! I have an old copy of ClarisWorks on my machine. I may start using the Vector section of it again.

Friends? FRIENDS? You're my arch-nemesis you science-hating egotistical puppy-kicking malodorous rat-bastard...

... yeah, ok. I'm sure I have a photo around here I'd like vectored. Let me post one tonight. Mind if it's Tristan (our kid)?

Crossfire: "Thank you! That explains it very nicely, and in a language that someone other than a physicist can understand..."

Denial is not falsification. You can't avoid a fact just because you don't like it.
"Data" is not the plural of "anecdote"

No problem, floating arch-rival thing.

Actually, despite my background in Physics, now I'm considering going into politics. So, you'll have even more reasons to despise me. ^_~
