Comic means something that contains "light content" - as in elevated feelings. Cartoon is the proper term of artistic drawings. Animation is the proper term used for things such as Bugs Bunny or Nightmare Before Christmas. There's Stop Motion Animation, Animated Cartoons, etc... (Anime is called Anime because it's japanese shorthand for Animated - yes they used an "English" term).
Now as far as my comic - I've got two comics going, I've not yet put one on Comic Genesis because I'm currently submitting it for proposals. PandaKing - My script can work for an animated cartoon, or a videogame. There are lots of fights in pandaking, depending on when I can get to it.
Puppy Rayn - I'm preparing simple animation as we speak for a Typing Game I plan on distributing for free to pre-schools and making available for download to individuals. By simple I mean REALLY simple. Think Badly Animated Man simple. But, for an "educational game" I won't need too much complexity. The animations I need to work on are Puppy Rayn running/barking (total of around 12 images), his friend chester is only around 6-12 images. Nice Sylphe will only be about 3-6 non-animated stock images that are used to tell the kid how to play. Konekomimi will need about 14 images I think if I counted right. Then I have to make images for the backgrounds and finish my font file that's going to be used for the physical game. The Fairies will be as many images as different fairies I want to insert. This thing is gonna take me a long time to finish

I'd love to see Puppy Rayn as a cartoon

You can see Puppy Rayn on my facebook: http://www.facebook.com/NinjaNezumi
So I think VideoGame is the best option for me to choose ^_^
