I know of the last one. I remember the weird head. Don't know it's name, though.

Hit me with some Aussie snakes instead. They're easy. There's "WhoaBetterNotGoNearThat", "AuuughGetBack!", "I'llCallAnAmbulance" and "NiceKnowing...OhYou'reDeadAlready."

Nice try, but we all know that everything in Australia kills you before you even know its there

"I'm just going to rake the leav-AUGH"
"Here's your lunch for the d-AUGH"
"Just gonna tuck into bed, sweet d-AUGH"

lol That's what I like about rattle snakes, you hear them before they kill you.
I'm glad 90's style forum signatures don't exist anymore.

So I've been making alot of art rather than doodles but I usually post that stuff anyway so.
I've been making some books(autograph books for Disney, I might have posted this before but I don't think I did)

And I finished that Kotex project here's some highlights from that:

And against what I usually do and against my own intentions I ended up experimenting and making some emotional pieces based around my brother's murder:

God, I have so much other stuff that I should be working on... like that comic thing... yeah.

But I wanted to do these instead. All photoshop-y goodness. These were supa-quick paintings for me.

Homework assignment is to take an object and draw it from 3 points of view, at close up, medium and far distances. This is the idea-sketch of my WIP which is like... a couple feet long

Any of them? It's got like 5.

I didn't want any Aussie snakes... they kill too quickly. Then again, I did include the long one, and it happens to have the highest mortality rate after untreated bites for any venomous snake, despite not being from Australia...

The one I drew is highly unlikely to kill you...

Course, I did end up leaving out that particular snake's most distinguishing feature...

That's all lovely work, I must say. I don't mind admitting, the Kotex Project images make me just a bit uncomfortable on some strange level of my maleness. The emotional work may be emotional, but it still has incredible artistic sensibilities. It's touching, and all are things that would make me pause, if I'd happened upon them in a real situation.

Anyhoo, I've just been more attracted to drawing illustrative cartoons lately, than I have anything sequential. To that end, I've been working on a coloring and activity book for all ages, but especially grownups who don't mind acting like children once in awhile. Here's a sample coloring page.

I'm filling in all the originals of my coloring book pages with ink and color right now, there are ten in all, and I hope to sell a couple of them at a local con tomorrow. Since the activity book isn't quite finished yet, I'll be giving away loose coloring pages for free, and posting them on my not-so-active CG site starting tomorrow. Once I get a few of the fully finished stuff scanned, I'll post a few up.

UPDATE:
Here's the linework all shadey.
