There could be an interesting story to this.

Great stuff. The only giveaway is that box seems to be viewed from a bit different angle than the coin.

Yeah, well, the only way to avoid that is to paint the box dead-on, and that will lose you the illusion of depth.

it also depends on how you view the board. but they aren't meant to look like they're sitting together, it's supposed to look like a nickel glued onto a painting

I liked the effect with angles. But that changes depending on where you take the photograph from. Alive it probably gives a different impression.

I've been working on stuffs... first is a Kiriban for an artist on DeviantArt, the other is my first drawing for a 50-styles art challenge I hope to survive. They're new characters, I haven't decided on names or anything else yet. Gonna color them up and then get to work on the first style challenge.

Oh good, I'm glad it's recognizable! I don't draw cats often, and ocelots are so particular in the shape of their head... :3

I have a sketchbook that I plan on filling with demons and mythical beasties. First up is the Baba Yaga, old cannibal witch with a hut on chicken legs.
Edit: here it is with some watercolors splashed on top.
My scanner is too busy being a shelf for my extra books to be of any use.
Edit2: Two days? Really?

Why thankya! I won an award I have to paint 12 of these by April 29th for $1000! The only problem is those are the only two I have right now
I don't think you were here for it but my brother was killed in February and it threw off my timeline extremely
