I try to use the style seen in traditional British adventure comics like the Victor, New Hotspur, Valiant etc etc.

That makes my webcomics (or at least the ones that use that style, i've used other styles in the past) unique because British adventure comics are unloved and treated with sneering comtempt, if not willing ignorance. Therefore nobody else will use the style XD.
I MAKE MANY COMICS / Some are on paper! / Used to have one on Keenspace too...

I've been told that I have a consistent, recognizable style in my comics.
I use several geometric shapes as a basis for my characters.
I hand draw everything (which may be changing now that I have a tablet) including words and speech bubbles. And panels.

Can't say I agree with the "Dislike of 95% of comics ever made"... but I will say:
  1. Hate Furry except "Jack", "Freefall"...
  2. Hate RPG except "RPG world", and ... No that's about it.
  3. Hate gamer society except "Penny Arcade", and loosly - "Red vs Blue"...
  4. Hate wannabe anime except the people I've personally lavished praise upon because they were the few, the good. ("Soap Committee" is good here)
I'd rather read "White Ninja" or "Cat and Girl" for it's original spin, view, angle, and content - than another elf story or j-pop bit.

Original concepts rule. Everything else either came out the disposal output, or should go into it's feed.

Oh.. I forgot to show what makes me *me*.

I never wanted to look like anyone else. Ever. Fuck anime. Fuck furry. Fuck everything. I chose to start from scratch with geometry. I worked my way toward center as I grew, but this is still an early example.

And my content and thinking was different. It's also much deeper than it appears. The smarter you are, the smarter it is. That part makes me smile. :D (but most people are still way too stupid to get it. That's ok, but no concession: Fuck stupid people)

Still: This one is most accessible and approachable. No "white ninja" here. it's just meat and potatoes.

Feels like it's 2004 again.

I draw eyes weird. Also, I don't pretend to have straight lines.

That's a good attitude to have. (no sarcasm)

Because really, you have to like your own comic before other people like it. Well, I guess that's not always the case. But I find with art it's better to have a healthy and positive relationship with what you make than to despise everything you produce.

That's not to say I think what I do is perfect. Whenever I'm "done" with something I always end up looking back at it later thinking could have done this, could have done this. Especially things with a deadline- "If I had had more time, I would have done X better." For me it's not about the end result, but the process of drawing something is cathartic in itself.

In most cases people compliment my art when they look at it- whether that's representing a majority or if the people that think it's crap just aren't saying anything, I don't know, and I don't think I'd care either way. I think even if no one liked my drawings I'd probably still do them, just because I like them so much. I just wouldn't show them around :D

Cheating on backgrounds and too many drow.

Also the two nose-lines thing, I dunno why I do that, but I do.

Hmmm. In the case of Zworgue's story.. the distinct lack of nose and mouth.
