Trying to get back into webcomicking.
Any advice for an old salt who hasn't done anything much here since before Comicgenesis was Keenspace?
Hell Sweet Hell Productions if you were condemned to Hell, you'd be home now.

I know much how you feel. After giving up on my old comic years ago I came back with new inspiration and more dedication to start AntiBunny, and found "what the hey is this? It's not Keenspace anymore?"
But what I've learned. Be ready to re learn a lot. Even if your drawing is in practice, sequential art is much harder than stand alone art. Also update your software. The bar for editing seems to be much higher now. In the old days a line pointing to some text was okay. No everyone wants clean anti-aliased balloons with proper spacing.
Sprite comics are passe. Memes don't travel as far as they used to, and don't base your comic on yourself and your friends because it's been done to death.

Speaking as someone in the same situation.
Don't stop drawing. Once you start drawing it's hard to start again. It takes a while to get the momentum up.

Hmm. When did you stop? The webcomic terrain has been pretty constant for a while now. Not many big changes. Personally, I've been dabbling with Project Wonderful to get the word out about my comic. I have to say, this is one area where it's not as easy as it used to be. Back when I did Mixed Myth, there weren't nearly the same number of well known webcomics out there, and yet there were a slightly larger number of webcomic listing sites. A number of these were small little lists that some guy or other did. Now the reverse seems to be true. Hah.
I do have one small suggestion, though. The really bright red background on the main page hurts my eyes. :{

Man I haven't run into you online in ages it seems. I'm glad you're still interested in webcomicing and would love to see you back in action.
Though I really don't think I have any words of inspiration. I completely failed at keeping up my webcomic first time around, but after I restarted it I just, dunno never stopped. Best I can say is if you do want to get back into it make sure it's something you can commit to, a lot of your previous projects have been cut short for whatever reason. The biggest chances for success in webcomics is productivity even before brilliant art, (though I know you're capable of that). People like something they can rely on.
