Read the copyright act suggested, it's a nice page-turner.

Ugh. Enough. Since he can't be civil about things...

Welcome to the brig, doboy1. You've been banned from these forums for evoking John Grubor. Again.

And yes, I also been getting PM's from him that continue to explain his mindset that he's quite mistaken as to the nature of the Internet. I care not to repeat them here, for it's more of the same.

Anyway, enough of the underfed banana men in fridge art.

 Wow, From CBF's story, I didn't even realise how much of a caricature this guy is. Such delusion of grandeur just can't be healthy. Draws like Rob Liefeld on crack, but posts like B**** C***** on crack.

Edit: just noticed, got a PM too. More of the same.

I just got an email from him threatening to show up at my house and he claims to follow through with his threat of posting a derivative work. I've already informed all major webcomic hosting groups of this and have their support.

I've returned his e-mail with a simple statement that this is now a legal matter.

EDIT: I am now going to go to my local police precinct to report this matter and I will be seeing a lawyer on Monday.

I'm honestly sorry it ended up like this.

Two possibilities, CBF: he's delusional, in which case nothing anyone says is going to stop him from spinning around in his own fabricated version of reality (same result if the delusions come from being, say, 13 years old and immature); or he loves being a troll and takes pleasure in getting responses, attention, validation that he can affect the universe, in which case nothing anyone says is... yeah.

Unfortunately, neither of those possibilities protects you from the crazy, but I'd like to think the odds are low the crazy will show up on your physical doorstep when it can more easily pester someone else in virtual-land. Smart move at least to put the police on alert, though, so that if it does come down to a phone call to the precinct saying, "some weirdo is on my doorstep" they'll head right over.

When a threat is announced, it should be reported to the proper authorities with no delay, IMHO.

Then, at that point, it stops from being 'harmless troll' to 'legal action required'.

And this is more for his protection than mine.

Post pics of Batman in our own styles.

There was a flame war and I missed it? :-(

This thread has been hilarious to read. Of course, those of you subjected to this harassing bullshittery have my sympathies... but this is really entertaining bullshittery.

*snerk*

Ultimately I just feel sorry for him... but that's partially because I don't have to deal with him. That level of 'issues' can't translate into a very productive personal life.
