Well, I decided to go for it and put up a tagboard. I'm still somewhat nervous of spam, since the sophistication and relentlessness of forum spammers really surprised me, and it took me over two months to find a way of stopping them. Still, I suppose I haven't got anything to lose by trying (well, apart from the two and a half hours I spent experimenting with the glitchy box code before it would actually work...)
