1.) What Program/s do you use to make your comics?
Pen and paper, scanning and lettering in Photoshop. I used to draw with tablet in Photoshop but decided I still like non-digital tools better. If I have some colouring to do, I still usually use Photoshop.
2.) What dpi do you work in?
I don't really pay much attention to that, since I don't do much for print. If I colour I usually just use 2x screen size because I seem to have more control with smaller image (and it doesn't choke my computer).
3.) What is your prefered strip format.
Gif, except where jpg is required for lots of colour variation.
4.) Color or B&W?
-Color all the way here ^^; I love traditional pen and ink more then almost anything ( watercolor painting is my <3 though) But color seems to make comedy strips look more dynamic.
That's the thing, colour makes comics more dynamic, more appealing at the first glance, covers mistakes and generally makes lineart less needy, which is why working in b/w is more interesting and challenging for me. But I think that really good black/white page is the most expressive that comics can be.

Flash, almost exclusively.

2.) What dpi do you work in?
Not sure, I'd have to look it up

3.) What is your prefered strip format.
2x2 rectangles, PNG

4.) Color or B&W?
I like color, but B&W looks classier doesn't it?

Actually the higher dpi is for better resolution for printing to be prepared just in case the impossible dream of getting printed comes true ^^;.

Notepad and Photoshop. I would love to use Illustrator instead of Photoshop to letter, but I lack the arcane knowledge necessary to accomplish this.

1) Photoshop to adjust black/white contrast and final touches and Illustrator for the letters and balloons. I've tried to do it all in Photoshop with my tablet, but I rather use paper still.

2) 300 dpis

3) Gif!

4) B/W... no time for colouring.

1.) What Program/s do you use to make your comics?
I do clean up in Photoshop and ImageReady.

2.) What dpi do you work in?
I scan b&w line art at 300dpi, pencil work at 600dpi. 300dpi doesn't save me all that much time, but it does save hard drive space for storage. I have two mimbots full of scanned art. I need another mimobot.

3.) What is your prefered strip format?
I switched from GIF to PNG-8 then to PNG-24, once I decided to go for quality rather that quickly loading images. I'm still not happy with the end result, but maybe I'll get some ideas from this thread.

4.) Color or B&W?
Almost always b&w. Thumbnails (for posting the comic on lj) almost always in colour. Occasionally a whole comic in colour. Depends on the phase of the moon.

Oohh... I feel different.

1. I sketch/ink/draw in Open Canvas, and do my formatting and text in Photoshop.

2. 250 dpi (it displays nicely on my screen for easy working)

3. jpeg (not so different) it shrinks down well and doesn't get all grainy.

4. Color twice a week, black and white on Saturdays.
