In the future, guys, lemme know if there's spam PMs :] .
When I see spam I pretty much go on autopilot and delete it immediately. I don't remember the username, it didn't have a chance to register in my brain.
I think this is the first time I've had a spam PM at CG, I've had a few at Keenspot. I'll let you know if I ever get one again.

I got one too, and I've hardly been to this site in a couple of years. My guess is that the message was spam and got deleted either automatically or via admin intervention.

This same thing happened to me too. I got a notice I had a PM, and when I opened my inbox there was nothing new there.
This webcomic, seen
here is hosted on the free web host Comic Genesis which pretty much proves its not popular.
Oh noes! Read all about the
tormented artist I am!

actually I'm highly amused by this, because my mail actually filtered it to my spam box, and it never does that with comicgenesis messages

I also got one, and the entire forum was weird when I went to check on it.
Seems okay now, though...

Quite obviously, this was a clever trick to lure forum oldies back to the forum after having been away for years, and it seems it worked on several of us.

No, no.
It was just spam.
The sideeffects, however are really something. Best spam ever!
