After A Long Absense...The 3am Wackyness is Back!

Post by Pockybot »

After years of doing comics/webcomics/zines, enduring epic bloody endless flame battles with some of the biggest names in webcomics, and hundreds spent on advertising...I took a year long break from the webcomic scene.

...but like lemon bunt cake, I am back! I decided to go
with NeoRamen( http://www.neoramen.com/ ) and completely redo
my style/art/direction. And I don't think I 've ever been as inspired or motivated as now.

Did anyone else get tired and quit either the webcomic scene or take a long break/quit a webcomic...then decide to come back after awhile?

Here's some of what I've bene up to:

Admin edit: 11 images at around 250kb each? I don't think so, mister. No [img] tags for this post.

(1) Seeing as you contribute nothing to this forum when you're not pimping your comic, I don't understand how you could possibly think that this topic was worthy of a post on GD rather than in the Comic Whoring forum.

(2) What is even the hell.

(3) Please use a spell-checker.

Posting two megabytes worth of pictures, although a far more... direct method of plugging your comic, is perhaps not the best way of reintroducing yourself to the forum.

PS. and OT. I'm really liking the new inline Firefox spellchecker!

It's especially good when you make an entire post talking about clichés and it puts in the little thingie above the "e" for you. Image

Not paying attention to accents can be a grave mistake.

Awww! That's so acute!
This webcomic, seen here is hosted on the free web host Comic Genesis which pretty much proves its not popular.

Dear sweet lord in what universe would you even think this is OK? Please refrain from posting horrible self-promotion, and I mean horrible in many senses.

Isn't it a bad sign when someone advertises himself by who he had flamewars with.

It should be, but I'm just going to lock it here, for the following reasons:

1) If I sent it over to comic pitching, it'd get locked on sight for not have 20 comics, and that's just extra work for YeahDuff and Kris - not to mention incredibly pointless.

2) From the responses this is getting so far, it's just waiting to turn into a flame war. While moving it to comic pitching would probably take care of most of the complaints, --- see number one.
