1. Keep it PG Rated. No Sexual content in fanart/comic.
This means for the actual fanart/guest comic, right? Because my comic itself is M-rated, so that doesn't make it taboo, does it?

Why have restrictions? You can leave it to the artists to decide what's an appropriate fan art for the comic. If you're gonna show the pictures on the Secret Stanta site then just have a "mature content" warning for them if they need it.

Why? Because not all sites accept mature content and it's just tasteful.

How about this one instead:
TOG Secret Santa FAQ wrote: My ADVISORY is to create something that would be at most consistent with the assigned comic's style. For example, if you're given the comic Happy Happy Fun Cat, a 100% G-rated comic about a happy and fun cat, you'd do a G-rated entry, unless you know the artist doesn't mind getting fanworks that are PG or higher.

If, on the other hand, you get the comic Killing Nudies Dead, a very violent and graphic R-rated comic, you can go the whole gamut: sex, violence, drug use, Ewan McGregor's wang, etc. If you're not comfortable doing R-rated stuff, though, you don't have to do it. Just do a nice G-or-PG-rated pose or something. (I don't think anyone would turn down fanart.)

If in doubt, do a G-rated piece. It's simpler for all parties involved.

Oh, that reminds me . . . anyone who's on the deadbeat list who actually did their Secret Santa duty last year needs to come over to the WCSS Forum (specifically this thread to keep things tidy) and let Lady Lit know about it.

Naturally, the WCSS forum is also for general information and questions about the whole process, should there be any.

My art's pretty slow going but I'm being brave and have signed up for both...

I may be a bit slow but I've never done any fan art and I'll be darned if I end up on the deadbeat lists.

I'll be on the safety net as well (hopefully it won't come down to that for anyone)

Does anyone else think it's funny how the person setting up the CG Secret Santa also happens to be on the 2004 deadbeat list for the other Secret Santa? :D
