Just general discussion of the comic
Just general discussion of the comic
I would like to start of by saying that I'm 16, a guy, and I am not gay. If this seems too abrupt please forgive me. It's just that everyone i know seems to think that liking cute things is gay. But that's not why i started this. I just wanna discuss the comic. Like how good the comic is. I know starting this without any specific topic planned was stupid, but i wanted to see a topic of general discussion. That said, i am now just waiting for the insults to pour in. Well do your worst. You can't lower someone's self esteem when they don't have any. HA HA HA. Sorry. I get a little carried away once in a while. Forgive me. I'll just stop now. C ya

Hi!
Sorry I've been dead. Real life sucks.
Anyway, thanks for liking the comic. Hehe. Go ahead discuss the story or anything, you'll probably do betetr than me! I'm totally swamped with other stuff now, and I actually have no idea where I'm going with the Karate Tryouts
Maybe I'm waiting for someone to rescue me from the hole I dug myself. Hehehe.

Thanks! But unfortunately, I'm kinda faaaar away from Brampton. (Actually, I have no idea where it is, but I think it's far).
I do have a job at the moment (hence the no time for updates), but it's totally not related to the arts field, and I'd really wanna try my hands on something that involves cartoons or arts. But at least I get by. 8)

Hey man, ya gotta give it to Fred, he's got brass ones the size of Texas for doing his own company. I think he's managing just fine employing himself. Ya know why, it's us, his fans. I'm not braggin but we really help him, we're supportive (most of us) we cheer him on and we blow away his book expectations by double or triple what he's expecting. I remember back when he thought the hits were all a joke from Largo. heh heh. The funniest thing was I was at Otakon in Baltimore this year, I'm walking down the hall with a MT shirt on and I hear: "Hey Fred he's got one of your shirts on!" made me laugh my ass off. By the way, any advice for cosplaying as a girl?

cute things
Jubei, next time a guy tells you that liking cute things is gay, ask him if he likes cute girls.
Also, i agree with Bjorn, Piro's got a lot of guts going after his dream like that. There was no way of knowing if he could be successful, i mean he has the talent, but it's hard to make a living in comics.

*sigh* Every artist's dream.
From time to time I get tempted to 'join the dark' side just so I get more hits. I don't think I've fully succumbed yet, but Bee's commented on how some sketches/updates seem fan-servicey.
Bjorn - erm, a girl cosplaying as a girl, or a guy cosplaying as a girl? Hehe. And how much are you willing to bare?
There's an anime prom in my area on the 22nd. I'm gonna cosplay for the first time!

Well ya see the big gag is I'll be going as Makoto Mizuhara from El Hazard. However Makoto happens to look like princess Fatora and is forced to dress up as her. So I'll be a guy dressed as a guy dressed as a girl. Follow that?
On Friday and Sunday I'll be in his school uniform, easy, jacket and tie. On Sunday I'll be dressed as the princess. harder.
