The Dreamland Chronicles...

Post by Ssava »

Hey all...
Since voting started today...I thought it would be a good time to put up some images from The Dreamland Chronicles and ask for your votes.

The Dreamland Chronicles debuted in January of 2006 so it's still a Newcomer.
I now have over 300 pages online and many more following.
It updates 5 days a week and I just hit my first 1,000,000 unique visitors.

Dreamland is read by All Ages. It's been a huge hit with teenage girls though because of the Romance.

Here's some samples....

Please feel free to check it out and let me know your thoughts.
Thanks again.

Hey Scott,

The Dreamland Chronicles is the reason I'm submitting "computer generated Webcomic" as a new category for 2008. Clearly real talent has come to the Webcomic world in the realm of computer generated art (although you'll have to compete with Crimson Dark.)

The Dreamland Chronicles should be a shoe in for a BUNCH of categories! Beautiful stuff!

Wow. Looks like you've been busy since I last read this comic. I must read it again.

Nooo! The good ones are too few and the bad ones so very bad! Let Dreamland compete in the other categories and it'll be fine. Honestly, I don't think I could find two other 3D comics worth voting for.

Hiya Scott, I've got to say I've been impressed with the technical side of "The Dreamland Chronicles" for some time now, you've really put together quite a visual feast there. It certainly helped me realise that there should be no room for compromise when it comes to 3D comics - we need to work on pushing them to the point where people no longer look at them as "3D comics", but focus on the product rather than the process.

Anyway, good luck with the awards - I look forward to your team wiping the floor with me in the nomination round :D

Hiya, Scott! What about that link exchange thing we were going to do? ;)

I've got you down for nominations in two categories...and potentially a third, (I dunno - the superhero/action section...can stuff that falls into the relatively superhero free genres still go in that, as action/adventure...? Cause I'm having trouble filling that one in atm...)

So very good luck and any consideration you'd give Between Two Worlds and The Broken Mirror in return would be the fabness. :)

Yes it can! It's superhero OR action.

Hi all!
Wow...I hadn't expected such a nice welcome here.
Thank you all.

I'll try to reply to everyone individually....

Joe...
Thanks so much.
I'll take any help I can.

FYI...I've voted for NNFB.
:)

Derrick...
Thanks. I hope so.
Also...voted for Dandy too.
:)

Jonathon...
Thank you. Please do go back and read. There's alot there now.

David...
Wow...what a very nice thing to say. Thanks.

Crimson Dark is really getting it's stride...you should be very proud.
The "making of" pages are great. Keep them for your book. I think fans like that part almost as much as the story itself.

As Joe said...I have to compete with you. I'm looking forward to it and good luck.

El...
You've got MY votes! And thanks for yours.
As for the link exchange...we are PAINFULLY slow in getting that new site up.
Please do email me again when you see the new Dreamland site up.

Thank you all.
I'll post some more images soon.

Aw Scott, you're such a shameless plugger... ;) I've gotta take some lessons from you on that count.

Hmm, I wonder how many nominations it takes to get through to the voting round...5? 10? 50?

Well, we're both down for the same award, so the rules say we fight to the death.

Or we wait for results.. Up to you :D
