At Eastgate today I bought a smaller 6"x9" construction paper pad that will fit into my smaller bag (the other construction paper I draw on is 9"x12".
I also keep in that small back a small box of crayons, some pencils, some sketching pens, a 6"x8" hard covered sketch book (which I bought in Germany) and a 4"x5" memo pad.
I use the sketchbook for the sketching pens when I'm sitting down somewhere and feel like sketching with the pens. The construction paper is for the crayons, and the memo pads I sketch little thumbnail sketches on with pencil while I'm riding the bus. These sketches tend to be very scribbly and smudgy because the bus bumps around a lot (plenty o' pot holes in Hamilton).
Here's the pics I drew this week while riding the bus, the crayon sketch I drew at the Tim Hortons in Eastgate and a pen sketch I drew this summer while waiting in a park for a doctor's appointment (I hate waiting rooms).
