Ghastly, we hardly knew thee.

I am very sorry to see Ghastly’s go. This was one of my favorite webcomics. It was one of the primary inspirations for my own attempt at a web comic. No sooner do I get a website off the ground than this happens. I wanted to say Thanks for the laughs and inspiration. Oh well. Check out my stuff anyway.

Ghastly, get well soon.

The big guy will be back, no worries there.
Remember what he said "If you strike me down, I will only become more powerful."

We the faithful must merely bide our time and eagerly await his return.

The comic is amusing, I like it.
The next to last comic links back to the first one when you hit next, though...
Also.... *rape!*

I like that line, i think that they used it in a movie though.
danmed hollywood!!! ghastly should sue since every on screen attempt to be cool is clearly a rip off of his real life coolness. And that rule is retoactive.
lol, i stoped making sense a while back
*never stoped rapeing*

Nope I know for a fact its from an episode of Family guy. Its Peter talking to Lois and the exact words are: "Lois if you strike me down I will become more powerful than you could ever imagine". He says this while cowering in fear. And I dont think the creators stole it from Ghastly, I think its the other way around.
And threadstarter theres a typo in your first comic, it reads "did you see that women over there?" when it should be "woman".

Right, but where did Family Guy get it from?

Ahh, you raped me, you really raped me! I feel so honored…. And kind of stretched… and sticky.
Thanks for the typo catch. It’s funny that was the first strip. It’s older than the website it’s on. Lots of people saw it before it was published but no one caught that.
I spell badly please help.
I will do more, one a week I’m thinking.
Ghastly’s will return but I don’t know about a prayer circle. I mean, don’t we have to synchronize gods or something?

i didn't see the typo ether.
but are you going to fix it?
while going over old stips in my own comic i have caught stuff like that. and i can't deside wheather or not i should go back and fix my mistakes once they are online or let them stand.
and if i fix the typoes, why not touch up some of the art while i'm at it. or i coul put AT-AT walkers in the background like i wanted to all along but just didn't have the money for at the time. You see my problem?
BTW i hope to god you guys really know where that line came from, if not you lose so many geek points you won't even be allowed on teh internets.

As Obi Wan Kenobi once said: “Strike me down and I will become more powerful than you could ever imagine”.

I’ve posted a new strip but can you read it? It may need a re-edit.
Halo 299, is your comic on-line somewhere? Can I see? Hu, Hu, Can I?
As for the typo, I will fix it. It embarrasses me now that I see it. Embarrassment is an honest motivation. As opposed to the greedy need to resell the same movie over and over. I did have to stop and think about it and I thank you for the stimulating philosophical question.

The comics not bad, something to keep an eye on. I personally find the font a bit hard to read on the latest one, but eh, that could also be pinned on already bad eye sight and sleep deprevation.

Yeah, but Jesus said it first (Luke 11:38). For He art like the Weeble, and when cast down doth rebound like seventy-seven times seventy-seven Superballs.

We're not psychically linked or anything, are we?
