Just went and looked at Clay's LiveJournal as Sexy Losers hasn't updated in a while and saw that he plans on ending it. Just thought others might be interested. [/url]

Well, it's his project and he has total control on it. I say he gave a pretty good reason as to why he won't go on, but even if he left it at the terse entry saying it's over sans explaination, it's his every right to do so.

(mind you I think it sucks I won't see it updated, but I was thinking about how Savage Dragon was a year on hiatus and it felt like the comic was practically over but, that's the decision of the owner. They can undo it if they feel so)

It will be a shame when it does go. Sexy Losers has always made me laugh and I can still go through the archives and get a bit of a chuckle from some of the strips. Here's hoping it's just a prolonged hiatus.

Speaking of comics that haven't been updated in ages, does anyone know what's going on with HomstarRunner.com? It's usually updated every week, but the last update was on December 5th.

And just in case there's anyone here who knows what the hell I'm talking about, Mirror of Maybe is back! After 2 or 3 years or something like that, it's finally been updated! Yay!

I've been reading Sexy Losers since it was "The Thin H Line"...I can pretty much thank Clay for introducing me to the world of hentai...

I agree with Lictor, hopefully it's just a prolonged hiatus.

Without the inspiration od Sexy Losers and the friendship and encouragement of Clay I think it is safe to say there likely never would have been a Ghastly's Ghastly Comic. I owe the man and his work a great debt of gratitude. It's sad to see Sexy Losers draw to an end but I'm thrilled to hear that Clay is planning to expand his comic endeavours into the proffessional arena. He's too great a talent for the comics world to lose.

There has definately been a distrubance in the Sexy Force.

I wish Clay well, and hope his professional stuff has the same wit and humor. Who knows, maybe some new comic will come along and we can all have that "school girl and her first cock" feeling again.

Because of this thread I've actually read through the entire Sexy Loser's Archives tonight. I have to say it's one fine piece of work. Truly sad to see a good comic come to an end. But I suppose all good things must. ::sigh:: Oh well, best of luck Clay. May the schwartz be with you, always.

I wasn't trying to pass judgement, will just miss it when it goes.

It's only been the last year or so I even new the livejournal page existed there, so thought others might be in a similar situation, and be interested.

Sexy Losers was my first webcomic, along with Exploitation Now. EN's long gone to archives, and when Sexy Losers goes, it'll be like losing a little piece of my childhood...
