Zsa Zsa

Post by Ghastly »

I go away for a nice weekend in Toronto and what happens? All of Keenspace blows up. I'm used to it crashing every Sunday as my comic updates. I've come to accept that. It seems it crashed sometime early Saturday and was not revived until sometime just a wee while ago.

I've forced a manual update with this week's comic which introduces the new character Zsa Zsa, she's a "switch". For those of you who don't know what a "switch"is, it is a person who can play either a dominant or submissive BDSM sexual role. Although Zsa Zsa is usually the Dom she'll sometimes play the sub for the right people/creatures. I'd been wanting to add this character for some time but it was just one of those things I've never gotten around to.

As for the forums. I think they may be gone for good. I don't know. All those wonderful threads... gone.

Oh well, what can you do, eh?

Are you sure this isn't a parody of a Apple "Switch" Ad?

spot the n00b

It's another sexual sterotype twisted way to far in the name of parody. who cares itf it's reminisicent of an add. I meen come on, it's ghastly's GHASTLY comic. not PVP. sex is more important than macs here.

spoken like someone who's never had sex with a
mac before. you don't know real love until
you've made sweet, sweet sex to a quadra 900
full tower. some go for the sleek curves of the
new quicksilvers or the fast paced G5 heartthrobs,
but i like the classix. mmmm...IIci...who's yer daddy?

I thought it was pretty obvious it was a parody of the Apple switch ads. What better way to introduce a character who is a Switch?

More of a funny, "ah yes" than a funny "ha-ha". But it seemed like an appropriate way to introduce this new character.

Wonderful, as usual, Ghastly. :D

I found your comic last week and read through the whole of it in one day. I just wanted to say how much I enjoy it, and Zsa Zsa looks to be no exception.

BTW, I was curious what your response to the persecution furries was. Being niether persecuted nor a furry myself, it has little real bearing on me, but I'm just curious, and I noticed that the thread has no posts. :(
Just thought I'd let you know in case ya hadn't noticed it.

Inside a dog, it's too dark to read."

I thought that was absolutely hilarious. I'm just glad that no one else was home or else they'd ask to see what was so funny. The mac parody was a stroke of genius and done perfectly. Very nice.

Yes, saddly the forum crash has erased the response to the angry furries.

I do still have it posted on my top secret live journal.

I don't watch TV so maybe thats why I don't get the apple/switch joke.

I thought the "Stop Persecuteing me drunk, bitter, jesus" line was the funniest thing ever written.

How many people do you know, that faced with the 2nd comming of Jesus Christ, would sit and argue, "But thats not how I learned it. Stop making things up!"
