Yeah, well it was allready stated in the first pages, this is based (loosely) on a 4chan copypasta, where the lube was onion dip.

I wasn't much of a channer when ghastly started this, so I totally missed about 1/3 of the chan jokes, which just makes re-reading it extra awesome

Alright I give, my earliest post at the forum was the fear that this side adventure would completely replace ghastly normal comic.

It has, so I will no further rain on the parade as a perpetual wet blanket.

(there's little comfort in being right when the outcome is undesirable).

Ghastly's been doing tidbits as well, for various characters in his comics. Like Polly. <3 I think he's doing a damn good job of keeping in practice, even if he doesn't feel up to doing the original webcomic for quite some time. I've seen some artists make a comeback after 3 years of absence.

I like polly more than GGC really
GGC to me, looks like his testing and proving grounds
apsdfjdskl;fjas;kldjfsd;lfsd was a good proving ground as well, I was very very impressed with it

Well I've seen polly. It's not bad.. But i mean I like a comic with a cast of characters. A large cast.

It would be like if Richard from Order of the stick ditched his main project to do just one comic of a orc runnign around killing of faceless Npcs and main one other supporting character.

Would I read it? I guess... But it wouldn't be the same.
