Too late. I watched it with friends - the extended version, no less. However, for the latter half of the movie we were all in a big pile, and I think my arms were underneath other people, so my thumb endures.

Huh? I don't know I've always placed my hand between my leggs when sitting. Now that includes far before I knew what masterbation even was, and has nothing to do with it at all. I know exactly why I do it... Warmth. The two femoral arteries run right by that spot, providing a source of warm blood, to warm my almost-always-cold hand. The armpits serve a similar function.
