They could put a feature where you choose the body frame-type. That would be a lot better.

I agree it would be much better... Not an attractive option from the artist/programmer's point of view, though... they'd have to do every article of clothing over again for every somatype and pose.

Not if the clothing had coding where it figured it's dimensions based on the body frame.

Sorry, nope... Raster graphics don't work like that. Even if you made them vector, you'd be dealing with distortion in one dimension, so it'd look forked. The only way to make it look halfway decent would be to re-create every article.

You could, of course, make every element of the, say shirt, a seperate graphic... sleeves, central design, edges, etc, and have a script fill in pixel widths of uniform color or even a 1 pixel wide ramp based on body width, but it would look pretty crappy compared to unique graphics, and still be more work.

The only remotely baggy pair of pants I found had a belt I'd never wear, and I never wear sleeveless or navel-baring shirts either, but the combination of hair, eyes, and smirk (ignoring the freakishly huge forehead) is just uncanny.

I dun did myself. I think it looks pretty close, epsecially the clothing, only thing is the ears should be a lavander beret and and bangles on the other wrist!
