Last night I dreamt I was a Catgirl(Odd, since I'm a guy), and I was LARPing the First Person Shooter Red Faction in a Mall with a bunch of anime ninja's and pirates. And they kept complaining I was camping cause I was using the Precision Rifle and sniping....

Wierdest dream I can recal to date was I was surfing the web wearing a WWI style aviators helm with googles. for some reason I look over at my roomate and comment "there are no sandwiches on this site!'

While I'm generally like Major, in that I don't dream (well, remember) often (though when I do remember them, they tend to be doozies)...

Case in point: Last night, I did in fact remember one.

Probably because of this forum, I dreampt of being drained of blood by way of, shall we say, 'back orifice'. When I woke up, it took a few panicked moments to realize that I was not, in fact, bleeding profusely.

On multiple occasions, I have dreampt I was a man which everyone, for some unknown reason, thought was a woman. I could see myself fine, but they must have been seeing something else.

(And to the dream providers: I'm still waiting on that sequal to my series of dreams set on what was probably Shokushu island; well, given all the dimensional weirdness going on by that school, it could very well have been, despite the massive, endless forest.)

I dreamt I was living Resident Evil. Except I was walking through some kind of dessert, without a weapon or anything, and this tiger attacked me. So I had to run into a building, using an elevator. But all the rooms were filled with zombies. When I started to wake up I was wondering where to get a save point, until I saw my room and was 'hey, this was a dream'

Once I had a fever dream that caused me to dream I had been transofrmed in some kind of dwarf/gnome, and was very sirtessed. After I woke up, I was fucked up for a little while, and it took plenty more time to realize that I was, in fact, NOT changed into an ugly gnome.

Last dream I had involved fucking Christine in a big puddle of gooey, squishy mud. She's a big kid on the inside, she would play outside in the rain and make mud pies if she could, and has told me that mudfucking sounds like a lot of fun.

I always remember my dreams. I usually have 5 or more per night. When I get to sleep in ( get more than 6 hours) my dreams tend to turn into big epic stories where they seem to last for days, or one time, I dreamed an entire life of the character I was. Then I try to get up and write them down for use in my short stories later.

If you remember your dreams, are you always yourself during the dream? Or do you play different people every time?

As for last night- I was wondering around a desolate New York type city, talking to some ghost who was supposed to be my grandmother. I kept hearing someone from work talking about their child being lost/kidnapped from school. Then I was walking on the subway tracks watching the train come to hit me and I was pulled off the tracks by William Peterson (from CSI) except it was the younger version (from Manhunter). I stood there looking at him and remembering this long love affair we had years ago (in previous dreams) and then he walked away. Then the subway went by, my alarm went off and here I am.

I have the long, epic-type dreams too sometimes. Those get written down. Haven't had them so much lately, because my sleep has mostly been in 2-3 hour snatches. Then I wake up because my goddamn ribs start hurting again. Or one of the cats decides to do something obnoxious and wakes me up (I love my cats and will not teach them to fly).

Last night I ended up dozing in the armchair in my office for a couple hours with iTunes running. I had half-waking dream that somehow fit in with the music that was playing that involved a friend of mine biting, hair-pulling, and twisting piercings all with an evil grin on his face. "Don't worry, I won't break you!" Hey, at least it was a good dream.

Actually, I have "character" dreams, where I'm somene else. These are almost always in third person, where I'm watching the action going on from a distance, but I still *Know* which character represents *me* in what's going on... even if they're entirely different.

And I usually don't write my dreams down, but I'll remember most dreams for weeks(or years) at a time, vividly.

Yeah, I've had a similar dream where I kiss a guy and open my eyes and suddenly he's a girl. I still decide to be with that person and I'm not disturbed by it at all, but oh what will people say.

I think, in the weirdest dream I've had so far, I looked down and I had a penis. And I thought "I'm not supposed to have one of those" and took it in my hand and it just came right off and there was my usual genitalia. I guess the weird part is, in real life, if I grew a penis, I'd at least give it a test drive.

Yeah I've had that "I suddenly have a penis" dream too. But I was I guy (not a chick with equipment) in the dream and my husband was a girl. I'm not sure how I knew it was him, but whatever... It was an awesome dream. Like making love for the first time all over again...
