I just realized that now that you've eliminated the plain yellow background for the Spanked Monkey, perfectionists like myself will be forced to add extra steps in our fan pics/strips.

Yes, I have a floor plan for the Spanked Monkey now which I can look at and use to figure out what would be visible based on what camera angles the characters are in. The gradient backgrounds are to be a thing of the past now, as will the 2-d shot of people sitting at the bar.

Panel 2's background, referring to Germany's Days o Evil, is especially nicely done. I think that maybe your creativity has been waiting for the day you'd decide to start putting in more disciplined backgrounds.

Also, with more detailed backgrounds, you can include many more sick and twisted details that one might only find on re-reading. Or re-re-reading, or... Such as the motto over the camp gate.
