Heh. That's what I can't understand. I keep up with... les'see... at last count it was about 34 webcomics, including Ghastly's, Sexy Losers, and Megatokyo, not to mention others. And quite frankly, I love to watch idots from one ComicClan sniping back and forth at others. I don't get offended when someone insults a comic I read... because *I* didn't make it, I just read it. If there's merit to the argument, the comic's creator will defend it, if not, he'll ignore it, and so will I. If it's an attack agasint the comic's fanbase, I take a step back and examine it. If I don't fit in the stereotype being blasted, I laugh it off. If I DO fit the stereotype being blasted, I laugh about myself and move on. Too many people are far too uptight to allow anyone to criticize any aspect of thier personal life, and take critisim against their hobbies as personal attacks.

I dunno... MT's delays tend to be frequent but small... Clay's delays have been much longer. Of course, he has an excuse (tendonitis).

But this thread did get me to thinking; if I had a couple of million $$ to offer him, I wonder if Piro'd agree to donate all his MT works to the Creative Commons. We need more stuff like it in the CC.

Thanks to Ghastly, the first thing I did when I met Piro in person (after giving him directions) was ask if I could get a picture of him sad in the snow.

To his credit, he took it in stride. His fans could learn from him in that respect.

I work for the convention where that happened. I've tried to convince the staff to invite Ghastly, but sadly the ones with influence went all "Ew, porn!" at the suggestion. I won't stop trying, however. It has become a goal of mine to engineer a public encounter between Ghastly and Piro for all to see. As long as I have a reasonable chance of making that happen, I will work twoards bringing it about. Mark my words.

Yes the "Ewww Porn" is appearently the response most people get when they suggest inviting me to a convention, except at I-Con. God bless those folks at I-Con, not only did they invite me to be a guest at the convention but they treated me like a king while I was there. Truly a class act all the way.

Pity more conventions arn't as open minded.
