Actually, I do have a very minor and rare form of colour blindness that makes it difficult for me to differentiate between certain shades of blue and green.

------------------

OK so its clear you are blind. Are you trying to the rest of us blind?
What the hell are you thinking? Bright Yellow on Light Green????
Jesus Man!!!
BTW, the comic is quite funny. Mrs. Shibata and the Sensitive Tenticle Monster need to be involved in a cross-over.

------------------

PLEASE change the text color. I like the minty green freshness, but the yellow is painful to attempt to read. (It feel like I am summoning Shuggoth and my eye-balls are peeling)

Yellow on pale minty green is quite.. interesting! hehe
I understand the problem though, cos if you use anything too dark, ppl will complain that you can't see the links on the dark green areas.
And the yellow does look cool on dark green.
How about red links? It'd match up to the lil droplets of blood in the site banner

You can always just highlight the entire page, then the text shows up as a nice blue on white. Not the best, but it beats trying to read that evil yellow text...
-FZD

Ghastly, you have chosen two of the worst colours to try to match link colours with.
Light green links work best dark. Dark green, they work best light.
Standard blue will never work; too light on the l.green, wrong for the dark green. Purple will not work. yellow doesn't work.
White gets lost in the eau de nile.
Maybe a change of the background colour from eau de nile to something yellow-green in a white way? You know, not baby-shit coloured, but a paler version.
My page is an example of the pains of internet colouration. The best backgrounds are light in colour; with dark text. Toned-down pale colours are best for this. Pastel all the way, like the early 80's Miami Vice.
I'll have a flog round with it tonight and put up a page with my ideas.
------------------

OK, fellow MT-haxxor, I have now provided an intitial palette of colours which you could execute upon thissite to make it more eye-friendly. http://users.bigpond.net.au/experiment/untitled1.htm
That is where they are.
Note; the background colour is just very slightly more brown than the current.
There are no black panels; merely we have swapped black for a yucky greeny-brown colour. This could be made darker, of course, but only to a point.
however, you could also use the maroon, or some form of dark purple or navy for the text colour, and this might work on a dark brown background.
Ah hell; just have a damn look and I'll shut up already. and give me your thoughts.
------------------

How odd... the main page has had it's colours updated, the entry page has, but the message pages haven't.
