I'm curious how long most people are affected by alcohol.

I've never been drunk, so I wouldn't know. I do stay tipsy for a long time after only a glass of alcohol though. Granted, one could argue that I'm always a bit tipsy without alcohol.

I don't drink for effect, but for flavor; when I overdo a bit, it doesn't take very long for the effects to go away.

I don't drink.
It is very dark. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

I suppose it mostly depends on how much I drink. Of course, when I go to bed drunk, I usually wake up slightly drunk the next day, which is much better than being hungover.
