My favorite part is this:
"I believe...
Humans were not designed to be physically monogamous. In Greek and Roman times they weren't; it's a Judaeo-Christian thing. But I do believe we're meant to be emotionally monogamous."
I've been saying that for thirty-odd years.

I love the fact that he has a pet tortoise.

A pet tortoise with which he cuddles, no less.

Wow, Ron Jeremy actually sounds like an amazing person. My favorite part is the teaching license. I suppose it's good to have something to fall back on, but still, parent-teacher night with him would probably be a little awkward. "Say, don't I know you from somewhere?"

Re: Gotta love the Hedgehog ...
As I recall from other biographical bits I've read, he *was* a teacher in the early seventies before he took up porn. I once caught part of one of those daytime TV shows where they bring on several people with a specific theme (in this case, porn actors), and do their best to humiliate and embarass them, or at least get them to fight. Jeremy was awesome; there wasn't a single thing the host and his crew could think of that he didn't have an excellent, well-though-out response to, and he was completely unflappable.
