I recall a story recently about a bloke who opened fire with an AK-47 when a trick or treater knocked on his door - but not just a few rounds, this guy blew through an almost a complete magazine on full rock and roll through the front door of his house.

People who send nude pics of themselves to other people should probably think about the consequences more, yes, but the extreme actions of the court are still a head-scratcher.

This girl was just kinda dumb though:

A teen field hockey player in upstate New York testified earlier this year that she took a photograph of herself in panties and bra and sent it to her coach at his request.

"It made me feel special and important," she told a jury, according to Binghamton Press Sun Bulletin. "He would say I was beautiful, that I had a good body and was really athletic."

Just to make sure no one is confused, that was a different girl than the one charged with making CP, though it wouldn't really make any less sense if she was.

that, while a terrible tragedy, was completely preventable, they were using the "micro-uzi" which is known for its incredibly high rate of fire that makes the gun practically uncontrollable; 10 rounds of shooting by the dad or an instructor should've told them that an 8 year old wouldnt be able to safely operate it. Frankly, I'm generally against gun control; but, class III guns in the hands of minors is incredibly unwise. Safe operation of select fire guns is good, clean, and noisy, fun, unsafe operation is a recipe for disaster; but, I digress... </nosey opinion>

The real news is that the white-haired 72 year old "war hero" entrenched career senator with questionable ethics and conflicts of interest got his ass handed to him in the worst defeat in modern history. IMO, that is what represents a huge shift in US politics. A revolt against "business as usual" crap we've been fed since Nixon. Hell, since Johnson. (I fully expect Biden to have to finish Obama's first term. Maybe even before he's inagurated. Those skinheads aren't an outlier. . . unfortunately).
