So I kinda dropped off the face of the earth, right? Let's see...

I had a car wreck, though no on was injured. Insurance elected to total out my car, so I'm still dealing with paperwork on that. Until that's done, my smashed-up car is sitting on the driveway under a tarp. I have a rental car, but I'm not sure how long that will last.

My oldest cat, the ocicat, almost died. We scraped up the money to get her a transfusion and some more care, so she lived. We're scraping up some more money for Epogen, so her platelet count will stay high enough that we won't have to do another transfusion. The poor beastie has two shaved forearms right now from the IV lines they had on her, but otherwise, she's fine. The other cats want to know why she gets to have the warm bathroom all to herself and get fed meat for every meal, but cats tend to think that they're being slighted all the time, anyway.

I survived three gigs and a wedding. One of the gigs, it rained early in the morning, so the majority of the people who were supposed to show, didn't. So I got to be the ONLY musician the whole day. I'm reallyReallyREALLY glad the Rats like me. They made sure I got to the gig (since I had no car) and that I got from stand to stand (since my normal wheelchair wrangler is injured).

Somewhere in there, I had to do costumes and clothing for the gigs and the wedding. Which I managed to do without any major fuckups, but I had complete brainfry by the time I was done

I've now lost enough weight that my finger braces are dropping off my hands. So I've now lost three of them and am reduced to wearing backups. Which means I only wear the things when I absolutely must now, lest I lose more of them. Until I can afford to buy more silver stock to make a new set, I'm going to be totally screwed if I lose any more of these. But the upshot is that my hands hurt a lot more than they used to. Oh, and my trackball died, so I'm using the graphics tablet as a pointer. Means I spend a lot less time online than before.

And the wreck and vet bills and my hospital bills mean that there's no money to replace any of the stuff that's breaking or getting lost. At least not this month. At least I replaced my cellphone before all this happened...

So, yeah.

I've been on the last couple days because the Sweeney Todd trailer came out yesterday, so all the fangirls are swarming. I made a full set of screencaps and stuck them up online, and now I'll probably disappear again for a while.

Well, George unearthed a $100 Fry's gift card, so I now have a new track ball, and we have a few other things and some cheap DVDs. So that was cool. Probably be a bit before the rest gets sorted out.
