hit up a synogauge for white shabbos (or sabbath, same thing, different language) candles. in my experience they're the utmost for being safely low temperature.

It's a rite of passage; you cannot come on Ghastly's forum without getting raped!!!

Or being gay for Bridget. It doesn't matter if you're a boy or a girl; you're still gay for Bridget.

Damn, that reminds me; whatever happened to the Chronicles of Assdip-chan?

the chick who plays lady heather appears in an episode of Joss Whedon's short-lived but awesome series Firefly. she plays... a whore. typecast, much?

anyways, now to the real post.

careful how one ties the wrists. do NOT lash them, damn you. the more she pulls, the tighter it gets, ergo lots of unhappy pain.

the boy and I use 3/4" for full-body binding or wrapping and 1/2" for appendages. 10 feet of rope does well to bind wrists and still leave rope to tie off.

this is the larger rope. yes, it's black. heh.
<a href="http://photobucket.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v508/ ... cture5.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"></a>

it's got a white core, and that white core is the same as the 1/2" rope we use for wrists.
<a href="http://photobucket.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v508/ ... cture6.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"></a>
this isn't the actual rope we use. this is a foot-long section that I stole, and hense haven't melted down the ends at all.

I think the rope we have now is nylon, but it's pretty soft. if you're looking to soften up rope, soak it in water for about a month. or less, if you're impatient. the softest rope I've ever felt was a length of nylon rope that had been used as a mooring line on my friend's sailboat. in fact, that was the first rope I was ever bound with. huh.

I once found a very good shibari rope cuff that very confortably binds one wrist. no matter how hard you pull on that thing, it will not slip and tighten.

I couldn't find the tutorial online, so I've kinda made my own... if anyone wants it, just reply and ask, and I'll post it.

Yes - good advice.
This is one of the things I like about the japanese-style bondage; many windings means the pressure is distributed over a wider surface area. You can go fairly tight (to ensure no accidental escapes) without causing a lot of discomfort. You don't want to be too loose if you play the "struggle" game. And you never use any kind of slipknot. (I guess these probably have their uses in suspensions, in rigging taut lines, - but I, personally, don't do suspensions. I think they're too dangerous for someone of my meager skill level.)

And with the softer ropes, there's also the sensual aspect of; as you're winding, the rope brushes up against the skin as you're pulling the loose end round and round. When binding the torso, I'll run long lengths up between her breasts, the nape of her neck, or along her sensitive ass - and then I watch for the gooseflesh.

FYI: on suspensions -

I just read about some guy in Florida who was arrested while trying to shoot some amateur suspension-bondage porn. Outdoors. On someone else's property. With an unwilling partner. Held at knifepoint. The prosecutor's going for some obscure loophole (based on the combination of offenses) that allows him to go for life imprisonment on the perp.

Just a lovely bit of joy to impart -

Banksy has opened an online "shop." I call it a shop, although all the images are available for free :D Banksy has decided to provide free, gorgeously high-res images of selected print images and stencil graffiti for his fans because he got tired of people taking his images illegally from his site and selling them at their own print sites. Banksy has said that the

"prints look best when done on gloss paper using the company printer ink when everyone else is at lunch."

For those of you that don't know him, Banksy is the guy who famously re-designed the Paris Hilton album then replaced the original copies with his version in London's HMV music superstore.

Anyhoo, back to the regular scheduled programming :)

P.S The site is currently offline due to a massive influx of traffic, but here's the [url=http://www.banksy.co.uk/[/url]

Forgive me for double posting, but Christ Almighty!

If I was the "unwilling partner" I'd most likely be really happy about that obscure loophole!
