Well remember, the Wii has an online service for downloading old Nintendo and Sega games onto your Wii. Nintendo has also stated that this service can also be used for Indie games.

So, if this service has a special Adults section, a non hacked homebrew game of RRR is possible, but I don't think it'd bring the true experience of tenticle rape...

Unless they switched it around and YOU controlled the tenticles...or maybe even you and your family, each with a controller.

It'll certainly be interesting to see if the adult industry will finally enter mainstream videogames, at least in america, with the Wii. It seems to me to have the most potential, as compared to play with a regular controller of some sort.

I think it'd be a huge boon to both nintendo and the adult industry to make this move, as the gaming population continue's to grow, and the interest in adult material has always been there. Add that to the fact they will support game downloads straight to the console? you no longer have to deal with that old problem of being unable to sell to brick and morter stores, now you can sell directly to the owner.

There is the issue that the Wii is probably aimed at a younger generation, but we'll see where that develops. If a few titles pioneer on there and do well, maybe sony/xbox will take the hint and develop a new, specialized controller.

still, Trauma Centre's a release title for the Wii, which shows a move toward more adult, if not yet sexually explicit, content friendliess on Nintendo's part. and things have -always- been sexually IMplicit, so it really isn't all that big a jump, the trick is doing it in a low-key enough fashion as to both get the moneys from them that want it without parents groups starting an uproar over it.

I have an idea. The dowloading of games, for kids under 18, some games would be cheaper, but they couldn't download adult material. You could allways lie, but your parents could code it.

i think it'd have to be something sneakier than that. i know Nintendo does ask for age when doing registration to their newsletter thing, possibly just not announcing when they release an adult game for download except in the newsletter to those over 18, and then letting it word of mouth from there? i dunno.

Or just pull a Leisure Suit Larry stunt by having you answer a series of questions only those above 18 would know.

Granted, it can get a little hard to figure out the questions if you're playing the game 15 years after it was released...

I loved that... classroom full of 13 year olds with 2 and 3 answers from lucky guesses and my saves were the only ones with 8 out of 8...

My brothers and I didn't have much trouble answering the questions sufficiently well to play the game, and I don't think I was quite a teenager yet. Of course I'm pretty sure that if I'd asked my parents for help answering them I could have got it.

Also in this day and age you could simply search the Internet for the answers.

they could always just make the console sent v-chip codes to the display. Game ratings could easily be converted to parental tv ratings so the system already in place would work. granted there's prolly a way to bypass this too, but if your kid is that smart then a smutty game without the "specialized" controller is prolly the least of your worries
