Drunk and Bitter Jesus is perhaps one of my favorite characters in the entire comic, and todays comic is a good exampile of all the reasons why.

Technically, I can't argue too much with what he said ... I just hope AW's family's 'alternative' form of celebration was caused by someone else's practical joke. For a while, I thought her dad was performing a weird form of child abuse.

Course, I think it would have been just as funny if he thought something like "Oh tabernac" but that's just because I think that's a hilarious curse.

Hey, maybe he invoked Christ's name because, although he may be Jesus of Nazareth, that doesn't make him the Messiah!

DaBJ strikes me as the sort of guy who could mutter "Krishna H Vishnu" without any irony whatsoever.
