Yeah guys, sorry. I'm in a lull at the moment inspirationally speaking.
Happy New Year by the way.
Was promised a new job but that's been delayed and has been playing on my mind to see if it eventuates among other things - or whether I'll even like it.
Bobo should be starring in his own adventure but of course I haven't drawn that up yet (strip not panel).
If there's anyone extremely wealthy out there that would like to sponsor me so I can give up my day job and focus on the cartoons let me know. I'd be only too happy to quit tomorrow and start up full time cartooning. I'm thinking someone in the movie business, you know earning 20 mil per film. A million should do it.
Don't worry guys I will get back to it - and I'll let you know via toontalk so you don't have to keep coming back here to the disapppointment of seeing Bobo break the world record for juggling.
Thanks.

Johnny has much news? That's intriguing?
Please tell more.
Darn it, looks like I'll have to put something new up to hear more I suppose.
It's been a strange two days in cartoon land here. Got my first cheque from The New Breed. Not sure when it will show in the papers though - we don't get the New breed here so I have to rely on the net which is a couple weeks behind. The new breed is a little market I'd like to keep tapping - it keeps me in PS2 games. And today I got called to do some caricature work (3rd time in as many months), I finally figured out how they were getting my details - if only I could do caricatures!
Other than that have been looking at selling the place and moving, might be changing jobs, and have been mulling over film script ideas so its been a busy time (but nothing tangible to show for it). Look, tomorrow I'll go through my backlog and at least choose the next few gags to go up - then maybe that'll inspire me to put something on paper and on the net.
Seeya all soon.

Allllllllright! Wimpy back in the house...
Johnny's news doesn't really compare to yours, but is still good. About a month ago, Johnny received a rejection letter from Amy lago at United, BUT, it was the next step up from the standard fare!! The letter stated that Johnny had "potential", and Amy even hand-wrote 2 paragraphs worth of suggestions, and stated she would like to see more, should Johnny decide to rework and re-submit Diddy's toon!! Yipeeeee...
A week later, Johnny received another letter, this one from Jay Kennedy at King Features. He made similar suggestions. Both boosted Johnny's hopes and enthusiasm through the roof!!! Johnny wanted to share his enthusiasm with you Wimpy, just to say don't give up! You have the writing talent, and your art is(was?)improving along nicely.
Now...free Bobo!
"Throbbin' Johnny

Hey Johnny that's way better news than mine. You're getting close man.
Today I'm supposed to be updating but I've forgotten my password (it's been so long) and yahoo's down at the moment - I think I kept a copy of that confirmation. This first one'll be an older drawing but I've been looking through my stuff and have picked the next few to draw.
I just signed up again on Keenspace for a second toon. Elephants Tales I've decided I'll just put stuff I like up that I don't think would fit a so called syndicated market.
The new strip "Clown Town" will be more towards what I think might be more syndicate friendly (and it'll be a strip not panel),
and of course my every day syndicate friendly panels I'll ship off to the new breed - whatever they don't buy I'll put up on Elephant Tales.
If you get a paper that has the new breed in it mine will be the one about a dinosaur (I have no idea what their production schedules are like - I sent the finished artwork in October).
The wimpster getting some of his old sparkle back ....
