Dave, if doing your comics means so much to you, but you will soon have very little spare time, why not stop at drawing them? It'll save you wasting ages uploading them, etc., it'll keep your hand in, and since by your own admission you're doing this for yourself, it won't really miss the point. You mean just do the comics for my own collection?Well, actually, that's the time-consuming part. Uploading them takes no time at all. And the fact is, while I'm doing the comics for myself, I still need SOME kind of an audience.I was a theatre major, and I haven't been on the stage in about two years. I really miss it. This is as close as I get to acting -- having someone view my "performance" is a pretty important thing for me.I don't know -- I'll have to see how things go. Actually, I meant scanning them, etc. Does the actual drawing take time? Anyway, given you've already said you spend ages anti-pixelating, I thought it wold be easier for you if you didn't do the whole computer thing. Right now, there's actually very little that takes time in doing Vicious Lies (except for coming up with the ideas and having the time to sit down and edit the pictures).Drawing takes me a LONG time. I'm not a very good artist, and any new drawing takes me at least a couple hours... although I sat down to draw this past weekend and did a pretty good single-panel job in forty minutes, so I'm getting a lot faster.I'm taking less time anti-pixelating pics lately, as I've learned some useful techniques with the scanner. It still takes a while, but not as long as it used to. Still, though, since I've been using cut-and-paste almost exclusively for a couple months now, I haven't had to take the time to do that.Truth is, Vicious Lies isn't really the time crunch that it used to be... <FORESHADOWING>and I hope that will be proven by October 29.</FORESHADOWING>--Strange/DaveEDITED to correct date. Sheesh, you'd think when I have literally ten calendars open in my cube (on the computer and around the walls) I'd manage to get the right date.
