So... who likes them some Steak and Shake?

One just opened up down here, just minutes away from my house, and I've never ever been to one before. I've never seen one in my state before, in fact. It's some kind of anomolanaoloy. Like it just dropped out of the sky or something.At any rate, I'm pretty eager to experiment with this new method of clotting my blood vessels, but I'm not sure how to go about it. What should I get? Or should I avoid the place alltogether?Maybe I should just hold out for a Chick-fil-a or a Krystal's. Man, fast food joints in the south are bizarre.------------------

Steake and Shake is awsome. Its all cooked on a grill like and indoor BBQ and the steak is actually good. The Milkshakes are world class. There more famous for there chilli then anything though..well and the steak burger. I would recommend it...no shitting problems here....where did you get yours Normal ...Mexico???

Actually it was in Illinois... I'm not sure what the hell it was I had but it didn't settle to well with me afterwards.I thought their fries sucked, too.------------------

I can't be any help as far as the Steak and Shake thing, but I CAN tell you to keep the hell away from Krystal's those places are just awful. Worst fast food hamburgers I've EVER had. And believe me, I have low standards for fast food and Krystal's couldn't even make those. Ick. But on the other hand, Chick-a-fil-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a is pretty good. Waffle Cut fries are cool.

Hey, I like Krystal's. If only for the novelty aspect of teeny hamburgers, though.And yeah, I had a shake and cheese fries from Steak and Shake, and I've got to say, they were excellent examples of fast food craftsmanship. Hand-dipped milkshakes are the bizomb. ------------------

Ahhhh, see that's why they've got you liking those Krystal's burgers, you've probably never had any other mini-burgers except them. If you want good mini-burgers you gotta go to white castle. Those things're good. Back in CT, we used to go into NY and eat bagfuls of white castle sliders. But they don't have 'em out here and I kinda miss 'em. ( at the helm,

Never been to one either, but I've seen several. There was a rumor in high school that I worked at one, because there was apparently some guy that worked there that looked like me. That was enough for me not to try it.

White Castle rocks. Tis the original nasty burger in my mind. They don't call them sliders for nuthin though, don't know how someone could eat bags and bags of them without shitting their pants soon after. But now adays I'm a fatburger fan, you can keep your Tommy's and In N' Outs, blah. Oh yeah, Fatburgers're great. Last time I went to Vegas we ate there. There's something to be said for a place that's still willing to call it's self "Fatburger". Alas, they don't have any of them around here. Though I did find one in San Diego this summer, which I'll have to keep in mind next time I'm there.

Mofo, get thee back to Steak and Shake and order a vanilla Coke. Mix it up a little before you drink it so the vanilla's not all on the bottom. It's like a carbonated orgasm in a plastic cup, I tell you.
