Dear everyone,
I know Maelstrom is too humble to mention this herself. She won a big art award in our hometown. She was in the art competition for seniors of the 4 town high schools only, and the judges gave her the grand prize!!!
She received a $150 scholarship and apparently a local TV interview for such.
Go Maelstrom! You rock!

But you didn't say what she entered!! She entered this funny looking thing with neon people you can see through (our friend Sandy modeled for it, cuz she's just cute!), one of me in "radioactive Chinatown" - I've got green hair in it 
and the winna and champeen --- the neon blue and purkle kitten see through things (I helped do the background but it was just black, so she trusted me to not screw up. I almost did anyway) ... At least I think that's the same competition.. maybe I'm rambling
