Maybe your comic is kind of big in size... not only the size of it in comparison with the screen, but also in bytes. What resolution do you use to look at the comic? How about trying to resize your comic (you have Photoshop, I heard) while looking at it through 640x480 resolution? That may help.
-Percival_Brock
PS I emailed you but your account is inactive.
PS Also, I think it won't be best for your comic if you leave the title as "untitled document". Maybe you should edit the frames...
PS If we're both into Computer Science maybe we should both abandon our comics and do geek comics instead, eh? Either that or we turn them into geek strips. =)
------------------

I'll see what I can do about the size...
I want to make sure it's legible, that's all.

which email did you try?
zillford_x@hotmail.com is currently up and working, but posting on the forum is just as good. I check them both equally frequently.

the "Untitled Document" is a problem that cannot be fixed without some administrative help. It's saved a file that can't seem to be updated. I may try and email some help in on it, but until then, enjoy my comic's other name....
well, seeing as Penny Arcade is my favorite comic, and seeing that I have made some executive changes on who this comic is put out for (me! ) I think you'll be seeing a bit more computer game related stuff...
I'll try and keep it not as obscure as his (not EVERYONE knows who David Perry is...)
but, if I think it's funny, it's going on the site.

I may even introduce a new character that I can use as my Tycho-esque punching bag...

The file you'd have to open to get rid of the "Untitled Document" header, is the index file I think. The main page of the site, what would be the one were you defined the frames in.
And you say you can't update this site?
That strange, you should indeed mail to an admin sometime. ::nodnod::

Right. Once comic writers realize that their comic is for themselves first before others, it all becomes easier to swallow.
The title is "Random Access" anyway, who are we to question that? I don't have much of a problem with techie topics anyhow. =)
Also about the size: I think your handwriting is pretty legible, even at 1024. But if you wish to make sure it's legible, you can attempt to use fonts.
Nice one. Now can I ask about your "Comic Book" link?
------------------

How about a comic exchange, zillford? (i.e. I attempt to make R.A. sad and you attempt to make P:M a gag strip). After all, we know as much about our characters as the other does (i.e. not much)

I will read your comic and get back to you on whether I think a crossover would work. But feel free to, at the very least, cameo my characters. I always love a little homage.

it might take me a bit, as I'm really busy (as usual)

I don't really think a crossover would work (unless we do dimensional portals or RPGs or what-if scenarios and stuff like that =) but I guess a guest strip would be nice, I'll probably need one for my anniversary issue on April 20, 2002.

Hey! You can't have a comic without dimensional portals, now can you? It's just not right!

You should have a characters page. It's been forever since I knew the name of that cat guy. I only remember the names of Random and Marsha. =)

Your "new" background rocks. Did you do that yourself?

*pokes Zilford*

Just a question...but wouldn't you maybe like to replace the frames on your main page with tables?
If you don't know how, I'd offer to help...
It's just, I find frames not-so-pretty, plus, I always stay stuck in yours when surfing around on keenspot fora...not that you think now that I have only selfish reasons to suggest the idea...

I like frames because it allows me to keep my links in view at all times. I feel people overlook important things if they are relegated to the bottom of your page. (like for instance, no one reads my main page posts... I would announce somthing there and then people would ask the exact question I answered there, in the forum.)

I might replace them someday anyway, just to get rid of the damn Untitled Document heading....

maybe I should just change the comic's name to "Untitled Document".... hmmmmm
