I started drawing about three years ago and I doubt I let any pictures that old survive to the present day out of sheer embarrassment. Then again, I've only been cartooning since I started reading Jack and that was... ooohhh... the start of march. So in a month and a half I've taught myself to do this sort of thing...

http://www.furnation.com/onissarle/pepe_bad_colour.jpg
http://www.furnation.com/onissarle/rtd_grenade.jpg

Before that, my style was closer to my Azrael pics. Here are a couple of samples from the hidden away folders that used to make up my site before I took it down...

http://www.onissarle.com/adultaqua/Torme4keiko.jpg (A request)

http://www.onissarle.com/adultfur/help_wanted_3.jpg (Help wanted, apply within)

http://www.onissarle.com/adultscale/dinotailtip.jpg (A character I drew for a while but never named)

http://www.onissarle.com/scale/banraifc2.jpg (my part of an unofficial trade)

Moral of the story. Sometimes practice does make perfect but for some reason I seem to lack any and all talent of my own. I seem to have the habit of mimicing other people's styles and then absorbing aspects of them into my own. So I guess I'm some sort of draconic art leech or something.

*looks back at what he's written and groans*

eeek, do I really sound that bad?

Now that is not the welcome I was expecting o.@

I'm scared... Someone hug me.

Please...

As for copying styles! Well there's nought wrong with that, that's how I started! It's how most people work anywho, you can't just work from scratch! Well you can, it's just harder that way. I say copy! Your own style will eventually evolve through it. Just don't copy everything of course! You need to draw on your own two feet sometime or other!... Unless you're a Taur of course...
Oh, and don't listen to me, I can't draw. Educated guessing mostly...

Furry... Yip? Whassat?

No it's never been my type either, but hentai rules! HENTAI! Big eyes! Big jugs! What more could you want?! Oh... And tentacles... But that's not my type either...

I suppose being brought up on imaginary furry personalities everywhere made me think of Furry pr0n as it would be like watching Barny having his way with Zippy. Oh gods... My mind needs soap... Or maybe I've just grown a conscience?

Hey! There was a non pornographic pic amongst that old stuff too you know, so there. I'm not quite sure what that proves...

Hmmm... Maybe I should crawl under a rock and hide right about now.
