I would probably be resting my hand on her back. Because I have no concept of how interpersonal interactions are supposed to work. But I know that it would be slightly more polite than touching her ass.

you and me both. i'ad defitenly want to caress and grope her but i wouldn't want to ruin any chances of a future relationship between up.

I get the impression that Eliza's kinda freaking out at the idea of touching her at all, in the face of Sissy having no hesitation about it whatsoever...

Eliza hasn't had an active social life, has she?

I'm not sure she'd be interested in a guy carting her away, Alfador. Maybe - she did seem to at least entertain some interest in Pierce, though it may simply be that, like Tedd Verres, he's just that girly - but I don't think we know enough about Sissy to say what she thinks of the male of the, er, a species, yet. Unless that came up in the Q&A thread and I missed it...
